My Services
Welcome to my tutoring services! With 17 years of experience as a secondary English teacher and now 8 years as a private tutor and AQA examiner, I am dedicated to supporting students and helping them to excel in both English Language and English Literature at GCSE.
With one to one tutoring, I adopt a flexible approach and offer guidance tailored to the individual needs of the learner. Building a relationship and offering bespoke lessons is something that I feel very passionate about.
I am extremely approachable and, as a mother myself, I am supportive and patient and strive to create an environment within which the student feels comfortable and confident. Since leaving the classroom, I have also undergone further training to qualify as a counsellor which enables me to provide additional support to young people who might be struggling with exam stress.
One to One Tuition
In person lessons at my home office based on Manchester Road in Crosspool. The space is private and welcoming and refreshments are provided.
Lessons are tailored to the needs of each individual and additional homework can be provided on request. All resources and texts provided .
